The Blue Marlin, Paradise Island, Bahamas

The Blue Marlin, at Hurricane Hole Plaza on Paradise Island, overlooks the Paradise Island Bridge and the busy docks below and across the water. The Blue Marlin serves lunch and dinner and also has a Happy Hour from 4 to 6 pm. Large picture windows offer splendid views of the boats and yachts tied up at the nearby dock. The menu, filled with a variety of Bahamian specialties, includes conch salad, coch fritters and served in all the traditional ways, along with an assortment of fresh seafood dishes, such as grouper and snapper, and Bahamian lobster tails all served with peas and rice. Getting There:

For visitors arriving by air, the Bahamas are served through Nassau by most US airlines and by international airlines from Canada and Europe, and to a slightly more limited degree through Freeport.

The Out Islands are served mainly by Bahamas Air via connections in Nassau and Freeport.
