Cave Beach Nassau Bahamas

Photograph of Cave Beach Nassau BahamasCaves Beach is situated on the north shore of New Providence. It's a bit out-of-the-way, but well worth the visit. A small but beautiful Bahamas beach, just 7 miles west of Nassau and Cable Beach, in Rock Point, right before the turnoff to the airport on Blake Road, it's quiet andsecluded. Being quite a distance to the west of Cable Beach means that it’s considerably less crowded.

It's an appealing little beach, popular with the locals, but sees very little tourist traffic, so it's ideal if you need some space away from the throngs of vacationers at the other beaches closer to town. It really is a place where you can escape the crowds since not many hotel guests know about it. Its soft sands are well worth going out of your way for. There are no public restrooms or facilities of any kind, so be sure to plan ahead.
