The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort Bahamas

The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort, formerly the Radisson Cable Beach Hotel is one of my favorite hotels in the Caribbean. I've stayed there a half-dozen times and have never had anything to complain about but the sometimes slow service in the often crowded restaurants. It is, in my opinion, one of the most underrated accommodations on the island. I’ve watched it grow into a classy, family-oriented resort that can compete with any in the Bahamas or the Caribbean.

The Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort has undergone a major renovation and now shares the casino with the Wyndham Nassau Resort. The hotel forms a great protective semi-circle along one of Cable Beach’s finest stretches of sand. Plus, it’s barely more than walking distance from Nassau proper. There’s not nearly as much going on at the Sheraton as there is at Atlantis, but it’s not lacking in appeal, especially if you prefer things a little less crowded, less noisy, and less expensive. There’s always plenty of space on the beach, the three pools are rarely crowded, and the bars offer drinks at reasonable prices, comparable to anywhere else in the Bahamas. On the downside, the staff is a little off-hand, and the service in the two most popular restaurants is slow. In general, you should always expect to get what you pay for; here at the Sheraton I think you get a little more than that.

There are six specialty and gourmet restaurants. Comfortable guest rooms have fabulous views of ocean, beaches and grounds. One of the best private beaches on Cable Beach is here. Eighteen holes of golf, tennis, and racquetball are available. There are three pools, three squash courts, 15 tennis courts, plenty to do for the kids, baby sitting, a beauty salon, shops and a casino next door. Rates start at $225 for a double. EP or all-inclusive packages are available.

Ideally situated on a 1,000-foot stretch of Nassau's most spectacular white-sand beach, the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort is one of Nassau's best. From the moment you arrive, you’ll be treated to gracious Bahamian hospitality, thoughtful amenities, and an abundance of activities – from swimming to snorkeling, sailing, and exciting water sports.

Seven acres of spectacular waterscape, including three freshwater pools with flowing waterfalls, oversized whirlpools, and a swim-up bar will help you relax during the day. By night, try your luck at the neighboring Crystal Palace Casino. Or gather together for a taste of the Caribbean at one of the on-site restaurants and lounges, ranging from casual to fine-dining. Nassau’s bustling nightlife is also just minutes away.

The resort offers 694 guest rooms and suites, each with a large private balcony or patio with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, waterscape, or lush gardens. After a full day spent with family and friends, drift to sleep on our soft and inviting Sheraton Sweet Sleeper(SM) Bed.

With 25,000 square feet for meeting and celebrating, we are ready to welcome your event or special occasion of 10 to 1,200 guests. Whether you’re planning an intimate family reunion or a large-scale convention, the Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort is an obvious choice for a family of corporate outing.
